You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or questioning yourself and your relationships more than you’d like. Maybe you look like you have things together on the outside, but internally feel anxious, drained, or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy can help you better understand these patterns and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and New Jersey with over 15 years of experience working with adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My work is rooted in understanding how past experiences shape the way we think, feel, and relate to others—and helping you shift those patterns in a way that feels empowering and realistic.
Clients often describe me as warm, relatable, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or overly clinical. While we’ll work through difficult and meaningful topics, I also bring authenticity and humor into the process to help make things feel more manageable.
I’ve worked in a variety of settings including outpatient substance use treatment, college counseling, and private practice, which has allowed me to support a wide range of experiences and challenges. What I’ve found is that many people are ready for change—they just need the right space and support to get there.
My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself, exploring openly, and building the tools and insight needed to feel more confident, connected, and at ease in your life.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science from Concordia College in 2005. I continued my studies at Adelphi University where I received my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2009. I received my New York State License in Mental Health Counseling in 2011. To broaden my network I attained my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in New Jersey in 2024.
I have worked in many different settings including outpatient substance abuse treatment, The Center for Health and Wellness at Wagner College, and private practice. I enjoy working with many different populations but my current passion is working with adults ages 18-45. Working with this demographic has shown me how eager this population is about self-exploration, growth, and willingness to make the necessary changes to break generational trauma in order to find peace and fulfilling relationships.
