Therapy Approach

Every individual is unique so my approach will be tailored to your goals and needs. I take a holistic approach which incorporates the mind and body for total wellness.

CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) is an evidenced based practice that can help you become aware of how your thoughts and behaviors are connected. By recognizing negative thought patterns and learning to replace them with more positive thoughts can in turn change our behaviors, mood and relationships.

Psychodynamic therapy is an approach to help you learn how our past experiences affect the present. By exploring and unburdening ourselves from past traumatic experiences can help us to let go and move forward. Understanding our past can bring clarity and change to our future.

Mindfulness is the practice of being more aware and present. We can find ourselves being distracted and worrying about what is coming next. By learning mindfulness techniques you can be more grounded and focused on the present moment in order to enjoy life now!
